“Elected Leaders” Take Actions On Hard-Earned Money

If there are but three constants in the world today one can always count on the following three things to always be there ringing their bells loudly:

1.  Death

2.  Taxes

3.  The New York Times waging a complete and all-out war on the working and middle classes of America and the Times editorial page always being on the wrong side of history.

What is really sad is that in the New York Times every day far from its incredibly Wacko Liberal editorial page are “news” stories that always following the line of trying to get more of hard-earned money from the American People because they believe that governments can spend OUR money better than We the People can.  No surprise here really though, because liberal elites that dominate the news in America today and have often never done an honest day’s work in their lives really believe they are smarter than YOU and since they sat through a few dozen classes at Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, etc., that they should be able to tell the rest of us Americans how to live our lives.

Sorry, the American People are not stupid and We the People do work in Real Jobs making real products and providing real services every day and We work very hard for OUR money and taxes in America on all levels are already way to high and it is past time for the American People to take back OUR Government from these Ivy League Elitists and guess what you bastards:

That is what We the People are about to do.

There is no better example of this attitude of the New York Times and other Elitists in America than this Outrageous headline in the Times:

California’s Tax Aversion Complicates Budget Math

What the Hell?  Newsflash to the Ivy League Elitists at the New York Times that have never done an honest day’s work in their lives and would not last 5 seconds in the US military:

Californians have to deal with some of the Highest Taxes in the country with the Highest Sales Tax, the Highest Gas Tax, One of the Highest Income Taxes and an Incredibly High Property Tax compared to the rest of the country if one’s home was purchased in the last decade.  Far from California having an “Aversion” to taxes California rightfully understand that they are Very Highly Taxed RIGHT NOW and that these Bastards in Sacramento don’t need more money because any more money they get from us will only be funneled to Government Workers that are already making Obscene amounts of money that are, of course, all paid for out of the pockets of the People.

The New York Times does identify in their incredibly biased news story (towards the Wacko Liberal side that can never have too much of the People’s money…..After all, we earned OUR money right?  Right!) what the “temporary” taxes that Jerry Brown and the Democrats want to continue to impose on the People of California will REALLY go for though.  Check out this paragraph from the news the Times incredibly biased news story:

“Even with the cloud of uncertainty in Sacramento, Mr. Brown’s aides and Democratic leaders have quietly begun laying the groundwork for a campaign on behalf of the tax extensions that is expected to cost $40 million to $60 million, a huge amount of money reflecting the cost of statewide television advertising here. Much of that money would come from state labor unions. Labor groups are already running polls and conducting focus groups that have, officials, said, found great but not insurmountable resistance to tax increases.”

Let’s repeat the KEY line in the above paragraph:

“Much of the money would come from state labor unions.”

Oh, what a surprise!  No, not really, because when one gets right down to the bottom of ALL of this Outrageous and Over-the-Top Government spending especially with state governments today in America it is the Public Labor Unions that are driving the deficit spending and they are driving it forward by BUYING-OFF politicians with campaign contributions and then those very same politicians turn around and give OBSCENE and OUTRAGEOUS salaries to Government Workers that are often making 2, 3, 4 times what they could make in the Real World.

Oh, you don’t believe that Government Workers aren’t making OBSCENE and OUTRAGEOUS amounts of money on the backs of the taxpayers?  Please, we invite you to join the rest of us in the Real World and to face the FACTS and REALITY of what is really going on in America today.

What is really going on in America today is that very powerful special interests like the Public Labor Unions, the Wall Street Bastards and Corporate America all believe that the American People are some kind of Bottomless Piggy Bank that they can access via BUYING-OFF our “Elected Leaders.”  Yes, that is what is going on in America right now, but that will not always be in the case because there is some very good case law being built right now across the United States that will allow the American People to toss some of OUR “Elected Leaders” into jail for crimes they have committed against the country by BUYING-OFF people in OUR Government to get them to do something that is clearly against US law.  That is called BRIBERY for the Idiots, Buffoons and Morons that somehow believe that handing over Hundreds of Thousands of Millions of Dollars to OUR “Elected Leaders” is anything but BRIBERY and in the coming years the American People are going to look very closely at EVERY DIME donated to EVERY politician in this country and if there is a connection between $$$$$$$ and action then get ready to have your asses tossed into prison.

Getting back to the OBSCENE and OUTRAGEOUS salaries and benefits that are now being paid to Government Workers in the State of California it looks like that We the People are going to have take on the Public Labor Unions and their members head-on because if they are going to spend 40 to 60 Million Dollars to try and get more money from the People of California so their members can sit around on their asses for 30 plus years in retirement hauling down $100K Plus in annual pensions then that effort Must Be Stopped by the Republicans in the California Legislature or then by People of California voting down an extension of these Outrageous “temporary” taxes.

For the Public Union Bosses and Democrats in Sacramento to understand what you are going to have battle against in the coming months the People of California are going to use FACTS to tell everyone in the state just how much money that Government Workers are hauling down in salaries and pensions and when that is known widely if the Public Employee Unions and Democrats thought getting these “temporary” taxes passed was going to be tough, you are going to find that getting ANY MORE money to pay OBSCENE AND OUTRAGEOUS Government salaries is going to be..

Is There A Deal That Could Be Had In Sacramento Between Jerry Brown and the Republicans?

As the California budget debate drags on in Sacramento in the spirit of Ronald Reagan, which a few of us here at Mad As Hell And… left college to work for in his run for the Presidency in 1980, maybe it is time for the Wacko Liberals and the Republicans to cut a deal, but a deal that does not stick it to the People of California in what is still the worst recession in California since World War II.

It’s time to end the budget nonsense in Sacramento so the state of California can focus on getting back to work because Jerry Brown and the Republicans continuing to argue about what in the end could be small amounts of money needs to be brought to an end.

Michael Gardiner of the San Diego Union-Tribune put out a news story a couple of weeks ago for that breaks down the taxes that Jerry Brown is trying to extend for 5 more years and here are those taxes and how much they would raise from the People of California:

How the tax package affects you

“Which taxes are at stake?

Sales tax: The state share was increased 1 percent, to 6 percent. It would raise $4.5 billion in 2011-12.

Income tax: There is a 0.25 surcharge. It would raise $2.07 billion in 2011-12.

Vehicle license fees: An increase of 0.65 percent to a 1.15 percent rate based on vehicle value. It would raise $1.38 billion in 2011-12.

Dependent exemption: A $99 credit, down from the $309 allowed two years ago. It would raise $1.25 billion in 2011-12.”

Now that you know what temporary taxes that Jerry Brown and the Democrats would like to extend for 5  more years (which is outrageous on its face) the next important number to know is what is the REAL budget deficit that the state is now facing after the Democrats cut about $5 Billion Dollars in state spending last week (No, the Democrats did not cut $14 Billion Dollars, but really only about $5 Billion Dollars after removing the fund transfers and other Bogus cuts).

Those $5 Billion Dollars in cuts by the Democrats leaves about $7 to $8 Billion Dollars left that needs to be cut from California government spending for the 2011 fiscal year which runs from July 1, 2010, to June 30, 2011.

Looking over the above taxes that Jerry Brown would like to extend for 5 years and keeping in mind the things that Brown has already agreed to with the Republicans to reform pensions and a few other items we could see the outline of a deal being something like this:

Jerry Brown and the Democrats

1.  Cut $4.5 Billion more Dollars from the 2011 fiscal year budget

2.  Follow through on the already agreed to pension reform changes

3.  Install a strict spending cap with 2011 fiscal year as baseline with spending growing no faster than inflation and population growth

1.  Agree to one-year extension of sales taxes, $4.5 Billion Dollars

2.  Income taxes, vehicle license fees, dependent exemptions all expire and revert back to old tax rates/numbers

3.  That would roughly be $4.5 Billion Dollars by both sides after the already agreed to cuts that Jerry Brown had already earmarked for this 2011 fiscal year budget.

4.  Hard Spending Cap:  The above would set the baseline General Fund budget for the state of California around $80 Billion Dollars and a Total State Funds budget of around $122 Billion Dollars for the fiscal year 2011 which in future years could go up no faster than inflation and population growth.  The great thing about a hard spending cap is that it would send a very strong signal to business both in the state and ones that were thinking about relocating to California that the government was committed to controlling government spending into the future.

If the Democrats are not willing to make the above deal then let them get the signatures to put the tax extensions on the ballot for a November vote and let the public sector unions spend tens of Millions of Dollars of their union members money and the People of California will vote the tax extensions down.  (That will just be tens of Millions of Dollars of money that will not be spent by public sector unions in the 2012 election).  That would mean the Democrats in Sacramento would have to cut the entire $8 Billion Plus Dollars to balance the budget and if they want to take a chance with a vote then we say have at it!

Yes, some Republicans will howl about the Republicans caving in to Jerry Brown and the Democrats but in exchange for 1 year of $4.5 Billion Dollars in taxes, it would be well worth it to get some pension reform and a hard spending cap tied to inflation and population growth.

Would Jerry Brown and the Democrats take such a deal if offered by the Republicans?

Well, we would bet that Jerry Brown would take the above deal because he knows what a dire situation is in going forward in the coming years as more state workers begin to retire, but the Democrats in the California legislature would have to be dragged to such a deal because they are owned LOCK, STOCK AND BARREL by the public sector unions and the unions would take down the state of California and destroy its People before they would give up the right of their union members to sit around on their asses for 30+ years in retirement collecting $70K plus annual pensions.

Yes, there is a deal to be had in Sacramento but the deal that would actually benefit the People of California is one that mostly likely cannot be done without strong leadership from Jerry Brown.

Bring Back the Al Gore “Lockbox?”

In the Fantasyland that is Washington DC there is always an intense search going on by politicians, pollsters and others that make fortunes sucking off the US taxpayer to come up with “works and talking points” that will divert the American People away from the robbery that is happening out back while the politicians do their best to distract all of us from looking up front!   “Hey, look here and not out back where the money is being carted off by the people that have BOUGHT us off!”

These Bastards in Washington have played so many games over the past few decades with the US Government’s books that even an army of accountants would never be able to figure out where the money is coming and going or if the folks at the Pentagon know what day of the week it is forgotten about how many contractors they are now paying (No, the Defense Department can’t be bothered with keeping track where OUR hard-earned money is going which is beyond OUTRAGEOUS and may just be criminal in the coming years.  Yes, these Buffoons at the Pentagon do not know how many contractors they have!  Incredible!).

The latest recycling of old BS is an attempt to revive a term used by one of the lead distracters from the Truth on the American political scene in recent decades and that would be Al Gore and the old term would be “lockbox” which Al used in the 2000 election against “W.”

Those of us old enough to remember the 2000 election remember very well the Pompous Arrogant Ass Al Gore looking over at the Pompous Arrogant Ass George W. Bush (Neither man to this day has done an honest day’s work in their lives and both would be lucky to be working the swing shift at the local 7-Eleven if they weren’t part of the lucky sperm club of Bushes and Gores!) and saying in his very fake Southern accent that we should put the Social Security surpluses in a “lockbox” so they could not be raised and spent by the Bastards in Washington DC.  That the Bastards in Washington DC spent every Dime of the annual Social Security surpluses and placed worthless I.O.U.’s in the Social Security “Trust” Fund is, of course, the TRUTH and just think the Great Al Gore was going to put a stop to all of that would his “LOCKBOX!”  Oh, that’s a good joke!

Saturday Night Live did a great skit of the debate between the two men that have never done an honest day’s work in their lives, Al Gore and George W. Bush, from the 2000 election.  Yes, this is very entertaining and it contains Al Gore’s “LOCKBOX!”

Now that is funny!

Now back to the Bastards in Washington DC that are constantly trying to come up with “words and talking points” that will distract the American People so they will look one way while all kind of nonsense and often illegal behavior is going on in the other direction.
